6 Days Tsavo/Amboseli/Nakuru/Naivasha/Maasai Mara
Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo East
Pick up in the early morning from your hotel in Mombasa south or north coast and take the Mombasa Nairobi highway, entering the Tsavo East National Park through the Bachuma Gate, approximately 240 kms from Mombasa. Commence game viewing upon entry as you head to your safari lodge or tented camp in the Tsavo East to check into you room and then have a buffet lunch.After a short post-lunch siesta, take an afternoon game drive to see the abundance of wild animals. Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo East - Amboseli
An early pre-breakfast game drive will start your 2nd day on safari. Return to your safari lodge or camp, have a full breakfast and then check-out of your room as we head to Amboseli National Park.Arrive Amboseli National Park, with game viewing en-route, check into your room and then proceed to lunch.Take a short siesta after lunch then go on an afternoon game drive returning to your safari lodge or camp in the early evening. All meals and overnight at your lodge or luxury tented camp in Amboseli.
Day 3: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast check out and depart with packed lunch to do a full day of game viewing in Lake Nakuru National Park. Spend the day in Lake Nakuru with game drives and not forgetting to visit the Baboon cliff which has spectacular views of the lake. In the evening depart Lake Nakuru and drive to Lake Naivasha to check in at your hotel/ lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha is a beautiful fresh water lake fringed by thick papyrus. The lake and its surroundings are rich in natural bounty. Most of the lake is surrounded by forests of yellow barked acacia or yellow fever tree. The forest abounds with bird life which makes it the best birding destination .The lake draws wild game like Giraffes, Buffalos, Columbus monkeys etc. and Hippos population sleep the day out in the Lakes waters. After breakfast depart for a game drive in Hell’s Gate National Park which is in Naivasha .At midday depart to do a boat ride on the Lake Naivasha
Day 5: Lake Naivasha- Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Early in the morning after breakfast depart Lake Naivasha and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Maasai Mara is open grassland 95 species of mammals, amphibians. Reptiles and over 400 species of birds have been recorded in this park. In Maasai Mara you will hardly miss to see the BIG FIVE. The annual wild beast migration takes place in this park between July and October. The eco system of Maasai Mara holds one of the highest Lion densities in the world and this is where over 2 million wild beast, Zebras and Thomson Gazelle migrate every year. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon depart for an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Day 6: Maasai Mara – Mombasa
Wake up to an early morning game drive in Maasai Mara and then breakfast. After breakfast you check out and have 2 options. You will either be transferred to the Airstrip in Maasai Mara to board your flight MARA-MSA or you will depart to drive to Nairobi and upon arrival in Nairobi, you will board the train NBO-MSA which departs in the afternoon.
